- Frequent working areas encompass harmonisation between Local and Global Data Compliance; Privacy Standards; Cross Border Data Transfers; Data Localisation Compliance. - Frequent legal brief writing on APAC regulatory changes for dissemination to the 30,000+ mailing list of the firm. - Notable recent projects working with inhouse counsel include; • on GDPR compliance for an Irish based medical services provider to European Citizens in China who are clients of a German Insurance Company, • GDPR compliance of a WeChat mini program for Milan Airport, • Employee/Customer Data Retention policy drafting and implementation for a high fashion Italian streetwear brand for APAC (China, HK, MC, Taiwan, Singapore) • Data Collection Policy Drafting for an Italian Shoe brand selling via telesales in Korea. • Consulting on transfer of consumer data from Europe to APAC Manufacturer with plants in China and Japan. • Ransomware and data breach management for an Italian manufactory in Nantong, China. Managed the breach notification, established new company policies for data management and conducted an audit on data flow within the company. • Conducted an audit of data flows for a Finnish trading company in Shanghai, established new company polices for data retention and management in advance of the PIPL enactment.
