As LATAM’s leading International Payment Facilitator, Pagsmile covers mainstream payment methods providing acquiring services for global companies to support their success in their target regions. From gaming, e-commerce, mobile applications and beyond, our team makes business easier for merchants to sell world-wide. We’re headquartered in Brazil and in Beijing, China, having offices also in Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru (more coming). We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Leader with hands-on knowledge in fintech and cross-border payments companies to be based in Beijing (hybrid acceptable) and help us lead our business to the next level. You will work with Pasgmile’s awesome cross-functional teams fom Technology, Commercial, Sales, and Administration to plan, propose, and launch People and Talent management strategy. Your insights and skills will bring the company strength and core stability, as we develop into a more attractive major global player in cross-border payments industry. Tasks: 1. Develop and implement global HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's objectives and support its growth in the cross-border payments industry. 2. Oversee and manage all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition and management, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR operations. 3. Develop and implement effective recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent globally, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce. 4. Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans, to ensure high-performance standards and employee growth. 5. Provide leadership and guidance to HR team globally, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. 6. Partner with department leaders to understand their talent needs/weaknesses and develop effective HR solutions to support their goals and objectives. 7. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in all countries where the company operates, adapting HR policies and practices as required. 8. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture, enhance employee satisfaction, and promote employee retention. 9. Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent globally. 10. Drive learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities, ensuring alignment with business needs and career progression opportunities. 11. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to HR in the cross-border payments industry and implement necessary changes to HR strategies and policies.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master's degree preferred) 2. At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including substantial experience in a global HR leadership role in the payments industry. 3. In-depth knowledge of global HR practices, policies, and regulations, with a strong understanding of cross-border employment and labor laws. 4. Proven experience in developing and implementing effective HR strategies, policies, and programs to support business objectives and drive organizational growth. 5. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire HR team globally. 6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees, stakeholders, and business leaders globally. 7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze HR data and metrics to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. 8. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines. 9. Professional certifications such as PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP are highly desirable but not mandatory. 10. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages is a plus.
