Job Responsibilities

The Legal Specialist will provide support to Pagsmile’s Compliance team across a wide variety of legal matters and subjects. This position will perform matter intake, management and tracking, conduct legal research and monitoring, create and maintain company records, and provide litigation support. Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ▪Manage intake and properly direct business units’ requests for legal advice and support ▪Draft, review and comment legal memoranda and other legal documents including service agreement, business contracts, administrative contracts, supplemental agreement, etc. ▪Prepare draft legal opinions in response to queries raised ▪Assist with corporate governance, licensing and regulatory core processes and related administrative duties including internal record maintenance and internal and external communication ▪Monitor federal, state and local legislation and regulations affecting the company ▪Assist in the preparation of briefs to represent in proceedings before appeal bodies and administrative tribunals as well as other judicial or quasi-judicial bodies ▪Develop and maintain materials, templates, presentations, and trainings outlining legal processes, standard procedures, system usage, and general team processes to enable consistent and efficient transactions ▪Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

About you ▪Bachelor’s degree in Law with a Legal Professional Qualification Certificate ▪1-3 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, contracts administrator, or other relevant capacities in a law firm or corporate legal department environment ▪1-3 years of experience drafting commercial contracts preferred ▪Experience with Internet companies preferred ▪Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment ▪Ability to manage and set priorities effectively ▪Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product ▪Verbal and written skills in Chinese and English ▪Demonstrate good judgment and professionalism, and exhibit flexibility and versatility to provide support
