Job Responsibilities

- A digital content editor creates, builds and publishes content for our websites and digital platforms including Facebook messenger, Instagram, YouTube, and twitter. - The ideal candidate should be comfortable research and track a large amount of information and offers a proven blend of editorial skills (copy writing, social media best practices) and technical know-how. Prior experience producing for a website or digital property is a plus. An interest in tech, U.S culture is a must. We want to know what do you read, what do you watch, and who’s your favorite YouTuber.

Job Requirements

- Native Proficiency in English (American or British is preferable) is a MUST; knowledge of mandarin is a plus. - Mastery in developing copy for large cross-channel and/or direct-marketing initiatives across social media. - Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to work under tight deadlines and pressure - Ability to work well independently and with a team. - Strong sense of ownership and urgency Requirements and General Skills: - Work on deadlines across multiple teams to deliver work that exceeds expectations. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills. - Meticulous attention to details; strong organizational skills. - Familiarity with a variety of online marketing concepts, best practices and procedures. - Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. - Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. - Willingness to go the extra mile, and uphold a high standard. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Commitment to “internal client”. - Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects. Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of web production and deployment principles/best practices. - Strong working knowledge of social networking tools, e.g. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. - Knowledge of SEO best practices a plus. - Knowledge of Adobe software is a plus, Photoshop, Illustrator a plus. - The ability to read English content effectively.
