In 2016, I qualified as a proofreader with the College of Media and Publishing, London. I became a member of the proofreading team at the company I worked for proofreading all types of travel documents written by the Events team. I also completed thorough checks on documents written by customers where English was not their first language. During the pandemic, I became a full-time remote freelance proofreader for Higgs Technologies based in Hong Kong on the Romance Fate team, proofreading their interactive romance games from June 2020 to April 2024. I have proofread romance books written by US bestselling author Charlene Raddon. I also worked closely with Charlene on some of her books assisting with character development and plot. I have worked as a proofreader for Cobalt Fairy based in Greece (historical romance novels between 60,000 and 80,000 words). I proofread and part-edited a short travel guidebook written by Kreshnik Bali called “Why Albania?”. This is available on Amazon.
